I have been a Netflix viewer for about one year now. Some of the shows they stream are solid entertainment and others, I leave alone. Then it happens. A show that looks so interesting, I forget to check for a series listing. Shows like, “The Crown”, and “The Haunting of Hill House” are like potato chips. I cannot watch only one. After the first episode, I’m drawn into the TV screen like a piece of debris in a black hole. The credits flash and a message in the lower right corner of the screen reads, Next episode in 4, 3, 2, 1. I think “Okay I’ll only watch one more.” By 3:00 am, I can no longer keep my eyes open. I turn off the TV and stumble into bed. I take a nap after work the following day to keep myself up all night and do it again until the series finishes.
During these marathons, I need to bite into something other than my fingernails. I have found some reasonable late-night snacking options I would like to share. If you are watching suspense, may I suggest Sabra hummus with roasted peppers accompanied by New York Style Pita Chips with sea salt?

Spicy food sometimes leaves me with heartburn. In this case, I take a couple of swigs of Iberia Coconut flavored Aloe Juice. It is soothing on the stomach so I don’t lose my concentration.

During the more dramatic shows, I dip into some Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese. It is nice and soft, so I don’t have to look away from the screen while dipping.

For docudramas on a chilly night, I recommend a hot cup ofSwiss Miss Dark Chocolate. I add extra dark chocolate chips before heating and topit with mini marshmallows and whipped cream.

If you are ever on Netflix and cannot turn it off, I hope you will find these snack choices helpful.
Wishing everyone good entertainment and a good night sleep.
When there are lots of episodes I can pace these out but when around 10, I find I keep saying “just one more” and then it is 2 am and I am asleep on the sofa!

I don’t have Netflix, but I’ve read many mentions of it in various publications. You’re probably one of half a billion people who are addicted to Netflix!
Happy watching!

My hair dresser mentioned being up til 2:00 am watching with friends. My boss, coworkers, cashier, and friends complain but there are greater foes to battle addiction with.
